Nowadays, the serum has become a great part of our skincare routine. So, I was looking for a serum that can help me with my skin issues. Suddenly, I saw Elizabeth Arden capsule serums that come in small capsules. Each capsule contains enough serum for single use.
Typically serum comes in contact with air when you open the bottle every time you use it. This may alter or change its effectiveness. That’s why Elizabeth Arden has used the trick of putting the serum in small capsules. This keeps the serum exactly as it was produced.
I’ve loved the idea. Besides I needed the serum. So, I ordered Hydra-Plumping Serum capsules from them.
This is the story of my first serum purchase experience from Elizabeth Arden. Lately, I’ve used two more from their serum collection. Here, I’m going to talk about my review on all three Elizabeth Arden capsules.
But before that, let’s know something about Elizabeth Arden.
About Elizabeth Arden
Elizabeth Arden is a known brand all over the world because of its quality and luxury cosmetics, skincare, perfume, and gift items. It started its journey in 1910 with the introduction of Red Door Salon in New York. Florence Nightingale Graham was the lady behind the brand who used this name as her trade name.
The primary intention of Florence Nightingale Graham was to develop beauty products that enhance women’s beauty from the inside instead of just making a coating over the skin. With her innovation and knowledge about makeup and beauty, she became a pioneer of several inventions in the beauty industry.
Elizabeth Arden Capsules Review
Elizabeth Arden has five serums that come in capsules. Among those, I’ve used three. SO, I’m going to review those three now. Stay tuned.
Hyaluronic Acid Ceramide Capsules Hydra-Plumping Serum
This is the first serum from Elizabeth Arden that I’ve tried. My intention was to maintain the hydration level of my facial skin. Let’s see how it performed.
I ordered a 30-piece bottle just to test how it goes. Small capsules in a small bottle- the appearance was satisfying to me. Opening the capsule was very easy. Just two twists and it opens up.
I’ve followed the exact process of application that is described on the website of Elizabeth Arden. They’ve called it lightweight, but I don’t think so. It was a bit heavy and took some time to get vanished in the skin. It was smooth and silky. But after the application, I could feel that there is a layer of something on my face.
So, if you include it in your regular skincare process, you may have to wait a bit to apply another product over it.
Now, let’s discuss the effectiveness.
I didn’t get any visible change in the first two days. But from day 3, things started changing. I found my dry skin areas are getting plumper. I think the Hyaluronic Acid did its job really well. The change was so permanent. Besides, the ceramides were also very good in their action because my plumping skin was lasting for a long time.
As my skin was getting enough hydration locked in for a long time, its condition started improving. There were fewer wrinkles and fine lines.
Overall, I felt really good seeing the improvement of my skin. And the best thing is, I didn’t see any side effects too.
Advanced Ceramide Capsules Daily Youth Restoring Serum
I wanted to try something that can prevent the aging process or make it slower. So, I switched to the Advanced Ceramide Capsules Daily Youth Restoring Serum. Similarly, I wanted a test run first. So, I picked the small bottle of 30-pieces at first.
The packaging was similar to the previous one except for the color.
Similarly, two twists and the serum will be in your hand. It felt thinner than the previous one I’ve used. But after applying, I found that this is almost similar to that. The texture is smooth and satisfying, but a bit thick and takes some time to get absorbed in the skin.
So, you have to wait for a few minutes after applying.
Elizabeth Arden says that the serum comes with triple-power to restore the youth of the skin. Well, I guess that the claim is right because I started seeing improvement from the first day.
After the first application, my skin gets the hydration it needs. It started looking fresh and feeling fresh within no time. The Ceramide Lipid Complex started doing their job immediately I could see.
Within a week, I started seeing the visible changes in skin texture. The wrinkles and fine lines started to disappear. Besides, my skin started glowing from the inside. Tsubaki Oil and Botanical Complex Technology deserve appreciation for the performance.
I continued using this serum for a long time to maintain youthfulness and it never disappointed me. Even if I missed it, there was no major issue in the appearance of my skin.
Vitamin C Ceramide Capsules Radiance Renewal Serum
Another anti-aging serum capsule from Elizabeth Arden is Vitamin C Ceramide Capsules Radiance Renewal Serum. So, I wanted to give this a try too as I’ve heard that vitamin C has a lot of benefits for the skin. Even it helps in brightening skin tone too.
So, as always, for a test run, I ordered the smallest version of Vitamin C Ceramide Capsules Radiance Renewal Serum. The packaging was similar. So, let’s skip that.
It looks way lighter than the previous two I’ve used. After applying, it was being absorbed faster than the previous two. From this point of view, I was totally satisfied because using a fast-absorbing serum saves from a lot of hassles.
The oily texture was okay enough to consider.
The instant result was lighter and softer skin. Thanks to the vitamin C in it that ensures light skin. Its impact stays on your skin for a long time- around 8 hours in most cases.
With time, the spots on my face started disappearing. Even the tough spots started being light. Thanks to vitamin C again.
The best thing is- though I stopped using the youth restoring serum, there was no visible aging impact on my skin. This serum supports the natural elastin and collagen making process and fights free radicals. So, it works great against aging signs too.
It is supposed to work on uneven skin tone too. As I don’t have such an issue, can’t ensure you.
Overall, I suggest this one if you want to improve your skin tone, fix uneven skin tone, and fight aging signs.
Final Verdict
So, these are my Elizabeth Arden capsules review. The serum capsules I’ve used are really great. Those served me exactly how those were supposed to. So, I guess you’ll get similar benefits too.
The only issue I haven’t liked about these serums is the thickness. These need time to get inside the skin. Otherwise, I’m satisfied with the performance of Elizabeth Arden capsule serums.
