L Occitane Almond Supple Skin Oil Review
Ingredients
In this 50% Almond Oil, the leading ingredient is Sweet Almond Oil. This comes with a load of Omega 6 and 9 fatty acids. Thus, it can nourish and soften dry and sensitive skin without initiating any irritation or discomfort.
Among other ingredients, you’ll find Bergamot Oil which is known for its anti-inflammatory feature. Also, it contains carrot seed oil that is both moisturizing and anti-inflammatory.
Other ingredients are Camelina Sativa Seed Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil, and Rosa Canina Fruit Oil.
Appearance
It comes in a spray bottle. Inside the bottle, the oil is golden in color and not so thick. It has a smooth texture.
Overall, according to my observation, there is nothing distinctive in the appearance.
Application
Applying it is very easy as it comes in a spray bottle. Simply spray the oil on your skin and then massage your skin calmly to spread it everywhere in your dry skin.
The Result
In winter, my skin becomes insanely dry. Before switching to this oil, I used several moisturizers but didn’t find any satisfactory results. My expectation from the oil was a skin free of dryness.
The first application left a surge of hydration on my skin. It was a bit greasy, but the greasy feeling was not there for a long time. It was smooth on the skin. Also, it comes with a gentle and attractive smell that I’ve loved.
I was feeling that my skin has got what I was looking for. But the question was- for how long?
The oil gave a really satisfactory answer through its performance. It kept my skin soft, smooth and hydrated almost all day long. I haven’t seen such a result from any of the moisturizers I’ve used.
So, my overall experience of using it for the first time was great. It instantly reduced the dryness of my skin and made it smoother.
L’Occitane asks to use it twice in 24 hours. I was doing that. Within 7 days, it changed my skin’s appearance. It was not as dry as it was before starting using the cream. Now, even if I forget to apply the oil, the dryness can’t return to my skin like before.
For keeping my skin safe in winter, it is the best choice I’ve ever made, I must say. But it seems to be a bit pricey to me. If it was a bit less costly, I would be happier. Except for this, I don’t have any other complaints about this oil.
